29th November - Bassing with Bruce

A very rough day

Bruce picked me up, and we headed out to do further research on a beach way to the east of Sussex. On arrival, the incredibly strong winds impacted us from the start, holding the water on the mud preventing us pumping any worm. With the big seas, and strong winds, we expected to find plenty of shellfish washed up, but there was hardly any. I am thinking this is a pre-requisite for this beach to fish well. End result, extreme fishhing for no fish!!
