Southwick Beaches

Barry with typical Sussex fare at the moment.
Still with some fine bait left over from the previous nights fishing, when Barry happened to mention he had rods in his car, when popping down on anothr matter, it went without saying we would pop somewhere. We mulled over the idea of Pevensey, but instead decided to try local. We popped down to Southwick. There was a moderate colour to the sea, and we felt there should be something about. Not a lot as it turned out. A few whiting and rockling to both of us. Barry was pleased, as it added the rockling to his species tally for the year. Still, as always, nice to be out!
