Sitting here waiting for new travel arrangements, I thought I would just pop a few piccies of what is normally an unusual event, but has happened twice this year. Heavy snow in Brighton. Where did the global warming go.......??

It was orignally a beautiful morning, with signs of spring in the Sheepscoate Valley

But then it got dark, with a few flakes of snow

The view down Wilsons Avenue at midnight....... Snowball time for the whole house......... :)

Jarsey and Natalia, slow exposure

The first snowman in Brighton. Dave, with Radka and Hasina

In the morning, Wonderland..................

The dog, after panicking all night about finding everything she ever owned in the garden, finally relaxed

With the sun dropping, time for Herring. The fishing must go on...........

......and with wheeled transport a bad idea, time to remember why we are bipeds.........

Hasina, with some natural urge. Wether that of a wolf, or a sheepdog, dont know........

The view across the marina from the top of the cliffs looking East

On the return we met more snowmen........

Of varying artistic qualities........

Hasina doing what she is being trained to do. Protecting my tackle....... :) Go ahead, Chav, make her day.......

The next morning, a hard frost had preserved the wonderland.......

We popped down to the marina, where Roedean college was looking glorious in the watery sunshine

Leaving the rods behind, we walked from the Marina to Ovingdean

where birds were working a pelagic shoal of fishes..........

Hasina enjoyed the beach as usual................

The last remenant of an old breakwater needs to be checked out at high tide in the spring

The sun sets on a glorious day. A tiny crescent moon appears.
