7th September -More Rough ground

Terry and Fred, and the biggest catch of the night.......

It was my greatest pleasure to be out with Terry and Fred on the rough ground in pursuit of spikey's once more. I was hopeful that the fish might well have returned, with the weed being back again but not nearly so problematic as it had been. The banter was great, the guys were genuinely interested in everything to do with fishing, and a most enjoyable session I had. With one major exception. Once again, the fish were intent on avoiding our offerings, and once again I found myself offering my apologies for the lack of fish. There is a distinct change occuring, possibly as a result of the seas clearing. I need to get onto it as fast as possible, for the benefit of my customers. Hey ho.... It means I need to fish a bit more, and a bit harder...... ;)
