4th September - Rough ground

With a night session planned with Mike and Alex on the night tide, I popped out to the intended mark in the day, not so much in expectation of a fish (hence the tripod) but more to check out the conditions, which I found to be ideal. How a slight shift of wind can change things........

On the session, the wind had swung from Westerly, which had created the nice conditions earlier in the day, to South Westerly, which saw masses of weed back on the rough ground. We fished the duration of the tide, but it has to be said, it was a very hard session, fighting for every ten minutes a bait could be kept in position. And not suprisingly, no spikey's!!!
