Well, May didnt quite live up to its promise. I think the fish are probably there in reasonable numbers but the weed keeps getting between me and them. Lets hope that, with a big high pressure about to be dominant for the second week of June, that the settled seas and biggish tides see an end to the weed nightmare. There are a few of the four/five pund bass just starting to be caught around the marina, so I am just looking for the right tide, and a big bucket of prawns, to see if I cant tease a few out!! Just one boat trip ths month, hopefully bassing on some mid channel sandbanks. Watch this space...................
