Sunday 1st May

Got up at the crack of dawn to go and fish the top of the tidse, ,and a couple of hours of the ebb. Owing to the lack of bites the previous day I decided to fish the Long arm of the marina, but inshore where there is plenty of kelp and bladderwrack. With the small tides, clear seas and bright sunshine, I was thinking that this would be the best bet for a fish or two. Well, it was. Only trouble was it wasnt a bass but a 4 0z pollock for all my early efforts!! Mental note to self:- Wait for a few more bass to be around before going for it!! I do this every year, and then by the time the decent fish move in I'm tired of bassing and will be chasinfg mullett elsewhere. Still, ages before I get bored at the moment. I got to catch a few before then, So, with not so much fish to report, I leave you with a few scenics from the day!!
