22nd May 2004 - Hove Beach

Weather - Clear skies. Stiff NE wind, calming to nothing after dark. Sea state - as previous night.

Tide - Low water approx 19:30

Fished low water until 01:30. Nothing on crab or sandeel until after dark. Then one small schoolie at about 10pm. An hour later a small pouting. That was it! A complete contrast to the previous night. This time I fished 50yds to the left of the previous night. Wondering if it is a very localised patch of ground. Could also be that the tides are getting smaller and smaller.Time will tell!!
