Short Spined Scorpion Fish.....

Another quick session out on the west arm. The swell wasnt quite heavy enough for what I really wanted, which could be why the only fish we (Steve, Steve and myslef) caught, well, Steve caught, was a short spined sea scorpion......!!

Nice conditions for bass......

With client bookings looming, I really need to find some fish. Putting in the hours is the only way to do it, which is why Steve, and myself, found ourselves on the surf beaches, with perfect condtions in front of us, on an ebb tide into darkness.

First Eel of the year......

However, the only fish to come to our rods was this single small eel. A welcome change to rockling, and a sign of summer, but where have all the bass gone????????
